Since the establishment of Henghai kindergarten for more than ten years, it has been adhering to the international education concept and cultivated a batch of elite talents for the benefit of the society. The first graduates of ESI have reached the golden age of university entrance examination. We have the honor to invite two outstanding graduates to reunite with our former teachers.
Lissy is good at painting since she was a little girl. This year, Lissy was admitted to Nanjing University of Art with the highest total score of culture and art. When Lissy was in ESI, her painting talent was revealed. Her paintings were often exhibited by teachers and made into postcards, which are still kept in the school’s archives. She told teacher:”My most beautiful memory is in ESI.”
The little girl who needed the teacher to squat down to talk , is now taller than the teacher. Malena is now studying in one of Canada’s top high schools. Not only does she study well, but also has a wide range of interests and hobbies，such as dancing, stage performance etc.The most valuable acivity she continued from her childhood hobby——figure skating. She was trained from Coach Bryan Orser, who taught Yuzuru Hanyu and Medvedeva, training in the same skating rink as they trained. Malena, who can speak four languages, has been influenced by multiculturalism since childhood in ESI. She has developed a wide range of interests and hobbies, acquired an indomitable will. These excellent qualities play a vital role in her study after graduation from ESI.
Since middle of October,ESI started to organize its first sessions of our“Introduction to the PYP Framework”parent workshops. These workshops were run by our Vice Principal, Perry and IBPYP Coordinator, Cherry.
Our parents are from different fields and have different backgrounds. By attending these workshops, we hope they realize they are all important members of the Eternal Sea Family. PYP aims for the “whole child education”. It’s not just about academic fields, it’s about how to help the children to improve their skills in all aspects.
Every year, ESI kindergarten organizes various charity activities and donates donations to charity organizations. To cultivate children’s sense of charity and helpfulness.
