What is your most memorable early learning experience? Like many people, maybe you will answer that the best memories are from when you were in kindergarten. Children in this period will be very active in the learning process, and preschool education will lay a solid foundation for children’s future learning.
TEACHING THEORY
IB PROGRAM
Advanced IB concepts let children explore learning in happiness. The IB inquiry-based teaching stimulates children’s critical thinking. The IB learner profile encourages students to become inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.
MONTESSORI EDUCATION
To educate and enable our students to become leaders of character, major contributors to, and valued representatives of their local, national and international communities. Equally important in the classroom is the cultivation of children’s creativity. Children learn art, drama, music, history and a second foreign language. They may paint their own impressionist “water lilies” one day, compete in sports another day, or prepare traditional foods from other countries, or perform a play of ancient folk tales.
We develop and enhance each child’s perception of happiness and surprise. Children should relish the joy of childhood, and school life must have laughter and childish creativity. We want our children to love school and the process of learning. A famous quote about education: “Education is not a chore, but a pleasant journey to explore the secrets of life.” This is the most important truth we hope to teach our children.
VIRTUES IN US
The purpose of the course is to support the need for education curriculum. It extracts 19 representative virtues of Virtue Engineering. They are: Cleanliness, Gentleness, Courtesy, Responsibility, Truthfulness, Helpfulness, Unity, Patience, Obedience, Joyfulness, Generosity, Kindness, Courage, Peacefulness, Love, Friendliness, Thankfulness, Compassion and Service
THE ROLE OF TEACHERS
We believe that every child has many gifts and talents to be discovered. They are not empty shells waiting to be filled by a teacher. Teachers are observers, followers, and guide the process of introducing wisdom, deliberation and experience into children’s learning, social interaction and knowledge exploration.
Teachers develop work plans and behavioral guidance to shepherd children to succeed within the curriculum framework and school environment. In this way, every child in the classroom hopefully gradually develops good working habits and enhances their sense of responsibility and cooperation.
Teachers use nature to motivate their students. Instead of confining children to the classroom all day, they often take them out to have contact with nature.
CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDREN AGED 0-6
Absorbent Mind
The first six years of a child’s life are dominated by their sponge-like mind. This six-year time span is divided into two stages, each of which lasts for three years. Maria Montessori calls the first stage “unconscious learning stage” and the second stage “conscious learning stage”.
In the first three years, children absorb and accept what happens in their surroundings. They absorb the impression they get from the environment and “create themselves”. Dr. Montessori said, “Young children do not absorb everything in their surroundings with their minds, but with their whole lives.” The task of adults at this stage is not to interfere with children’s behavior, but to provide a safe and rich environment for children to discover and explore.
The Sensitive Period of Learning
From birth to the age of six, a child shows a strong interest in the unique content he or she wants to master. Therefore, children will try a task again and again with great interest until they thinks they have mastered it completely. Sensitivity period is actually an inherent sensitivity of children themselves, which can help children acquire certain skills or characteristics needed for growth. When a child acquires this skill or characteristic, the corresponding sensitivity decreases, and a new sensitivity begins to emerge.
The Secret of Our Teaching
The secrets of teaching are: paying attention to the hidden nature of children at each stage of development, making appropriate choices, using teaching tools that enable children to develop their inner potential, improving themselves, designing activities, and preparing the classroom environment. We create opportunities for children to experience, promote their psychological, emotional, physical, social and cognitive healthy development, so as to protect the overall growth of children. To quote Montessori, we can think of schools as places where we teach only. But we can also see the school as a place to prepare for life.

HISTORY
Eternal Sea International Education Institute was established in 2005 by Ms. Jane Jin. She settled in Canada in 2010 and is the Dean of the International School of Education in HengHai, Canada, and holds the IBPYP International Diploma Organization Certificate of Kindergarten-Primary University Preparatory Teacher-Manager Training. Ms. Jin is a MBA and AMI Montessori qualified teacher. Also, she is a major facilitator of the Children’s Virtues Development Project. While Eternal Sea being dedicated to the research of toddler education, she is committed to all levels of educational development.
Testament to this is her 10 years experience in the fields of 0-12 year old, elementary and secondary schooling systems. As in the beginning of her career, Ms. Jin’s primary objectives remain the same producing and nurturing future top level university students and high-end specialized elites.

Every meal, activity and the details of security in ESI all reference the administrative standard in International elite school. We have moved with the times to provide our children with the advanced education. ESI has focused on developing Children’s abilities of language ,thinking, inquiring and socializing to solve the problems. The kids are all encouraged to become an internationally open-minded citizen of the world eventually. Some of the graduate in ESI are directly admitted to the foreign primary schools every year, Another part of the students get admitted to Shanghai PingHe Bilingual School or Nanjing International School. In 2016, the graduate in International classes who entered Nanjing Foreign Language Primary School has a proportion as high as 50%. In addition, the others are admitted to the famous school in Nanjing such as Beijing East Road Primary School and Lixue Primary School etc.
In those 11 years, ESI has got outstanding and harvesting education teaching achievements.
We have got excellent Awards as follows, In 2013, ESI won the title of excellent organization in The star of hope English Competition .
In January 2014, ESI got environmental education pioneering award from Nanjing Green Stone Garden environment education service center;

The graduates in ESI: Li Linmei, Li Zhi won the grand prize in the star of hope English finals contest in 2013.
Chen Yuyi, Zhu Xiaoyu, Yuan Anyang and Wu You won the first prize of the Jiangsu Finals in the Hope Star English Contest in 2013.
Chen Donghao and LiuHaoning won the second prize in Hope Star English Contest finals in Jiangsu Province.
